Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (10/28/2014).
- V – 0.4652 shares @214.965
- DIS – 1.12 shares @89.285
- WMT – 1.314 shares @76.105
- KO – 2.464 shares @40.585
I am continuing to add to DIS and WMT since initiating position last week. Also continuing to add V, but will reconsider V for next week based on prices. I started adding to my KO position since its drop last week. Decided not to add JNJ since it jumped by around 5% from last week. Will continue to monitor these stocks closely and decide which ones to add for next week.
I invested a total of $400 ($100 in each stock). These purchases add $8.59 to my annual dividends. This results in 2.14% yield. Over the course of next several weeks/months, I plan to build positions in the above stocks.
Disclosure: Long on all stocks mentioned above
Nice purchases. Thats an extra $8 you wont have to work for 🙂
Keep it up!

Thanks R2R. $8 is not a lot, but still something.

Nice on WMT, DIS and KO. Love getting dividends that pay the dividend the first quarter. You can put off paying the taxes for 14.5 months.
Thanks Dave. Hoping to add these stocks over the next few weeks/months and build the position slowly.
Keep on collecting that yield. I like the V and KO buys. I know many DGI bloggers are counting on that continued rapid dividend growth of V for years to come. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks DivHut. V just announced a great dividend increase as well as great results. The stock is up quite a bit today. Need to decide if I want to add at these levels.

How are you able to by partial shares of stocks on Sharebuilder?
Sharebuilder allows you to purchase partial shares – especially in automatic purchases where you specify a dollar value you want to purchase.
DGJ,
Great job adding to V before the pop. It’s on my watch list for this month, but this recent spike probably put it out of reach for me. But we’ll see how much capital comes my way.
Keep up the consistency!
Cheers.
Same here. Added about $600 worth of V over the past few weeks and now it has jumped up quite a bit. Hopefully the stock cools down a bit in the next few weeks.
