Sharebuilder Purchase – 4/7/2015

Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (4/7/2015).

  • JNJ – 0.9943 shares@100.5749 ($100)
  • T – 3.006 shares@33.2664 ($100)
  • WMT – 1.2345 shares@81.005 ($100)

I invested a total of $300. I continued to add AT&T and Walmart. T’s price increased a bit compared to last week, but was still good enough. WMT’s price declined a bit more and hence decided to add again. I did not add KO since the price increased back to over $41. I am looking to add more if the price drops back to $40s or lower. So instead of KO, I added JNJ after few weeks. JNJ’s price slipped back to the $100 range and hence used this opportunity to add another $100 in that stock.

I would also like to increase my position in stocks like DIS, V and PEP as I haven’t added to these stocks in a long time. I also want to add BBL, but the stock continues to drift be sideways and is currently trading higher than my target price of about $41-$42. Will continue to monitor these stocks for next week’s purchases.

These purchases add $10.85 to my annual dividends. This results in 3.61% yield.

Disclosure: Long on all stocks mentioned above

  1. Nice picks, DGJ. I wish I had free transactions…I would average just like you do adding a few hundred $ every month.

    Best wishes

    • Thanks R2R. I don’t have free transactions, but take part in Sharebuilder advantage program that gives 12 automatic trades for $10/month. So even though each trade is not free, it still works out to less than a dollar per trade.
      Cheers,
      DGJ
