Sharebuilder Purchase – 5/3/2016

Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (5/3/2016).

  • BBL – 3.8806 shares@25.769 ($100)
  • PFE – 5.8934 shares@33.9365 ($200) (new position)

I invested a total of $300.

BBL continues to be a speculative buy, though the stock is back to low $20s. I also initiated a new position in Pfizer (PFE). It is a stock that I have been looking at for a while now and using the monthly purchases to build a position slowly.

I want to add to my other positions like PEP and KO, but would like for KO to drop ~40s and PEP to ~90s to start adding these again.

This week’s purchases add $9.55 to my annual dividends. This results in 3.18% yield.

These purchases increase my total annual projected dividends to $3,365.25.

Sharebuilder Purchase – 3/29/2016

Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (3/29/2016).

  • BBL – 4.6298 shares@21.599 ($100)

  • WFC – 2.0800 shares@48.0769 ($100)

BBL continues to be a speculative buy. I am hoping that the stock is bottomed out and with the dividend cut out of the way, the stock can stabilize and might go up in the long run. Therefore, the plan is to average down a bit. In the meantime, I “hope” to collect dividends at around 2.5%. Let’s see how this plays out.

This week’s purchases add $7.53 to my annual dividends. This results in 2.51% yield.

I invested a total of $300.

I added to BBL position after a very long time. I am in deep red in the stock and the dividend was also cut recently. This is a pure speculative buy. I am hoping that the stock is bottomed out and with the dividend cut out of the way, the stock can stabilize and might go up in the long run. Therefore, the plan is to average down a bit. In the meantime, I “hope” to collect dividends at around 2.5%. Let’s see how this plays out.

Another dividend bites the dust – BBL

BBL just announced their dividend cut. Like I mentioned earlier, this was expected and with the volatility in the entire energy/commodities sector. This dividend cut follows KMI and COP since December. BBL announced a 75% dividend cut (from semi-annual dividend of $1.24/share to $0.32/share). I own 52.2051 shares in BBL and this reduces my projected annual dividends by $96.05.

My projected annual dividends has dropped close to $300 from the three dividend cuts. The goal for the year is already in jeopardy.

I hold so many stocks in this sector – CVX, BP, NOV and XOM. 3 down and 4 more to go 😦

My new projected annual dividends stands at $3,206.05 now. I am obviously going backwards towards this goal.

Sharebuilder Purchase – 8/18/2015

Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (8/18/2015).

  • CVX – 1.1976 shares@83.50 ($100)
  • DIS – 0.9304 shares@107.48 ($100)
  • JNJ – 1.0054 shares@99.463 ($100)

I invested a total of $300. I continued to add the same three stocks from last week. All three stocks continued to drop last week and especially yesterday (8/24).

I would like to add AT&T and Visa and waiting for these to drop before adding further.

These purchases add $9.21 to my annual dividends. This results in 3.07% yield.

These purchases increase my total annual projected dividends to $2,941.47.

Sharebuilder Purchase – 8/11/2015

Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (8/11/2015).

  • CVX – 1.1953 shares@83.6599 ($100)
  • DIS – 0.9153 shares@109.253 ($100)
  • JNJ – 1.0111 shares@98.905 ($100)

I invested a total of $300. I continued to add CVX and JNJ from last week. I also added DIS after a long time since the stock dropped below my last purchase levels. Based on some analyst, the stock is still overpriced. So we will have to wait and see how this plays out. I would like to add DIS if it continues to drop.

I would like to add AT&T and Visa and waiting for these to drop before adding further.

These purchases add $9.20 to my annual dividends. This results in 3.06% yield.

These purchases increase my total annual projected dividends to $2,932.26.
