Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (5/3/2016).
- BBL – 3.8806 shares@25.769 ($100)
- PFE – 5.8934 shares@33.9365 ($200) (new position)
I invested a total of $300.
BBL continues to be a speculative buy, though the stock is back to low $20s. I also initiated a new position in Pfizer (PFE). It is a stock that I have been looking at for a while now and using the monthly purchases to build a position slowly.
I want to add to my other positions like PEP and KO, but would like for KO to drop ~40s and PEP to ~90s to start adding these again.
This week’s purchases add $9.55 to my annual dividends. This results in 3.18% yield.
These purchases increase my total annual projected dividends to $3,365.25.
Disclosure: Long on all stocks mentioned above
Ciao DGJ,
One question: All these small acquisitions are not going to drive the commission tally very high in the long run? Or do you have a special rate with your broker?

I get 12 automatic trades for $10/month with Sharebuilder. I have more details in an earlier post about this plan. Thanks for stopping by and welcome to my blog.
