Sharebuilder Purchase – 9/22/2015

Here are my sharebuilder automatic investments this week (9/22/2015).

  • CVX – 1.2996 shares@76.9451 ($100)
  • KO – 2.5910 shares@38.595 ($100)
  • JNJ – 1.0846 shares@92.199 ($100)

I invested a total of $300. I continued to add CVX this week in addition to KO. Wanted to add KO in the $38s in order to average down. Also added JNJ after a few weeks. The stock ~92 and using this opportunity to average down. Most of my weekly purchase stocks are in red since I started these purchases in the last year and the market has been volatile during this time.

Like I mentioned, lot of my weekly purchase stocks are below my average price. This includes stocks like AFL, KO, PEP,  DIS, JNJ, T and more. I am hoping I can add shares of some of these stocks in the next few weeks.

This week’s purchases add $12.23 to my annual dividends. This results in 4.07% yield.

These purchases increase my total annual projected dividends to $3,165.30.

Disclosure: Long on all stocks mentioned above

  1. Looks like some pretty good buys here. Personally I’d have went with PEP over KO right now, but both are great companies you really can’t go wrong with. I wish I could add more to my CVX position but I’m too heavy in energy already. Keep it up.

    • Thanks Captain. I have a small position in PEP as well and would like to add more. Will add if the stock drops a bit more.
My energy allocation is about 13% of my portfolio – second after tech. Might continue to add a bit more. Been also adding other sectors to balance it out.
      Thanks for stoppping by.

  2. Keep these buys coming building bit by bit. Like to KO and JNJ buy. Wondering about the CVX dividend going forward. Seems like XOM is on more solid dividend footing than CVX with these depressed oil prices. Still, you added some great current yield one again with solid names.
